It was made yesterday by Florii my husband… the most incredible cook of fish dishes I know.
- 2-3 medium-sized trout
- 3 potatoes
- 2 lamai
- 2 oranges
- salt
- pepper
- oil
- spices (thyme, oregano or anything else you prefer)
- 1 glass of white wine (I used Sauvignon Blanc)
Servings: -1
Preparation time: less than 15 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Baked trout with peasant and orange potatoes:
Cleaned and well washed trout are seasoned evenly and inside they are put many thin slices of lemon and orange, including peel. Leave in the fridge for about 30 minutes to blend the flavors. Separately, boil the potatoes in their own peel, then peel and cut into cubes. They are "hardened" for 2-3 minutes in a Teflon pan with a drop of oil. In a dish of embarrassment or a suitable tray put a tablespoon of oil, then place the trout, among them diced potatoes and other slices of orange. Sprinkle with thyme and oregano and bake. After about 20 minutes (depending on the oven;)) "turn off" with a glass of white wine and you're done! The aroma of oranges will give the dish a very special "profile"…
